Schedule

What programming is available on CRI?

Most of our scheduled programming comes from EWTN, the Catholic broadcasting network based in Irondale, Alabama. Educational, informative and enriching, programming comes to our CRI listeners as they travel to and from work, and at work, school and play, over the radio and via Internet streaming.

Our listeners represent a wide range of demographics, but we don't track them specifically, as do commercial stations. Our mission is not to make money through advertising revenue - though underwriter support is very important to our continued operations!

CRI programs offered aim to:

  • Educate and evangelize concerning the fundamentals of our Catholic faith.
  • Encourage increased prayer and devotional time each day.
  • Broadcast daily Mass to listeners.
  • Cover special events of importance to Catholics in central Indiana.
We are working to expand our radio coverage in Indiana, and add programs of local interest. New local CRI programs include "Protecting Life" by Indiana Right to Life, Wednesdays and Saturdays and "Faith in Action" at several times, Monday through Saturday. We also air Archbishop Daniel Buechlein's "Seeking the Face of The Lord" reflection, Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m.

Is this funded by the Church?

No. Inter Mirifica, Inc. is a group of dedicated Catholic volunteers, with families and full-time jobs. The cost of leasing the station, equipment, programming and personnel is significant. Our ability to maintain fine programming comes from individual and organizational support in our community.
